Robe, a leader in moving light technology, has introduced the ESPRITE Profile LED automated luminaire, a groundbreaking solution designed to replace traditional discharge fixtures with a more sustainable, high-performance option. At the core of this innovation is Robe’s patented TRANSFERABLE ENGINE (TE™) technology, allowing users to easily swap between two 650W white LED engines—the HP (High Performance) for maximum brightness, and the HCF (High Colour Fidelity) for superior color rendering. These engines can be exchanged within five minutes without alignment issues or voiding warranties, offering unparalleled flexibility and cost-efficiency.

The Robe Esprite is manufactured entirely in-house, the TE™ engines deliver impressive performance. The HP engine produces 34,000 lumens at 6,700K, while the HCF engine delivers 24,000 lumens at 6,000K with a high CRI of 96, both rated at 50,000 hours (L70/B50), ensuring long-lasting operation. Complemented by precision optics, the ESPRITE provides crisp white light and a wide feature set including CMY color mixing, variable CTO, dual color wheels, static and rotating gobos, prisms, and frosts for versatile effects. A unique fast framing shutter system with +/-60° blade rotation allows fine control of beam shape.

The luminaire minimizes airflow over optics, reducing dust build-up and maintenance needs. Additional innovations include a Hot-Spot feature for adjustable beam intensity, Cpulse™ flicker-free technology for compatibility with HD/UHD cameras, ChromaTint™ for green/magenta balance, and L3™ Low Light Linearity dimming for smooth fades to black. The ESPRITE® Profile represents a significant advancement in lighting, combining power, precision, and versatility in a single, future-proof fixture.

Furthermore, the unique Hot-Spot feature allows you to move from a flat field beam to a 6:1 ratio hot-spot beam giving uniform intensity when overlaying beam edges to create smooth washes of light. The Cpulse™ flicker-free management system operates beautifully with the latest HD and UHD camera systems. ChromaTint™ gives full green/magenta content control, with L3™ Low Light Linearity dimming for ultra-smooth fade to black for seamless integration into traditional lighting rigs.
